Service — industrial packaging

Business-bound packaging,
placed in the right scheme.

Packaging that does not arise from the normal activity of households sits in a separate approved scheme with its own membership, tariffs and declaration. We identify it, quantify it and coordinate membership.

Indicative private-service pricing: Amazon Starter €399 in year one · Standard €474/year + €150 setup · scheme contributions and other third-party costs excluded

The outcome

A correct split between the two schemes

  • Packaging allocated between the household and industrial schemes
  • Reusable packaging included in the declaration rather than omitted
  • Any retroactive years quantified before membership is signed

The industrial scheme decides membership and issues its own invoices

Regulatory basis

The split follows the recipient, not the material

The cooperation agreement distinguishes packaging waste arising from the normal activity of households from packaging waste that does not, applied through a classification list approved by the Commission. Transport packaging supplied to a business customer is industrial.

Where the industrial file goes wrong

Consumer parcels are declared as industrial

The parcel used for a distance sale to a private individual is household packaging. Declaring it in both schemes pays twice for one box.

Reusable packaging is left out

Reusable packaging carries a zero rate but is still declarable; omitting it is a declaration defect rather than a saving.

A late start is treated as a fresh start

Published practice charges flat contributions for the calendar years preceding the year of joining, and premiums do not offset them.

What's included

Included in the written scope.

  • Allocation of packaging between the two schemes
  • Banding of industrial packaging by recyclability
  • Quantification of any retroactive years before signature
  • Membership coordination and declaration support
How it works

Four controlled steps.

01

Document the facts

Collect the entity, products, channels, contracts and available evidence for industrial packaging.

02

Confirm scope and dependencies

Receive a written map of assumptions, exclusions, third parties and points requiring approval.

03

Authorise the agreed work

Private fees, external costs and client responsibilities are confirmed before any submission or commitment.

04

Coordinate and retain evidence

After a valid engagement, each action, external decision and authentic receipt is stored with its date and version.

Frequently asked

Do we need this if we only ship to consumers?

Usually not. A pure consumer distance seller normally has household packaging only. We confirm this against your actual shipping flows rather than assume it.

Can we split our industrial packaging between the scheme and ourselves?

No. The membership contract does not allow the take-back obligation to be partially entrusted, so the packaging is placed either with the scheme or under an individual arrangement.

How much do the retroactive years cost?

The amounts and the years covered are set by the scheme. We obtain the figure in writing before you commit rather than estimate it here.
